Shop FAQ
How long does it take orders to ship?
We try to ship orders the same week they are placed, but despite our insistence on the first person plural our shipping task force is essentially a one-person operation, and in some cases orders may take longer to process and ship. Our current policy is that all domestic packgages should be received within 2-3 weeks of placing your order. International orders will typically be received within 3-4 weeks.
What shipping methods do you use?
We ship single prints via USPS First Class mail. If you buy more than one print or buy an oversize print we will ship via USPS Priority Mail. We ship all international orders via USPS First Class International Mail. Once orders are packed and shipped, First Class packages typically take 2-8 days to arrive, Priority Mail packages typically take 3-5 days to arrive. International orders typically take 8-14 days to arrive. (We can only offer tracking on international orders by special request.)
Returns & Exchanges
While we take the utmost care to insure your order reaches you in pristine condition, accidents do happen. Should any damage occur to your print or package during shipping, or should you be dissatisfied in any other way with the condition of your purchase, we will gladly arrange to send you a replacement or refund your money. Simply drop us an email at shop@jacob-weinstein.com or by using the Contact page on this site.
Caring for your print
During shipping the paper may curl. To flatten your print, we suggest sandwiching the paper between two pieces of clean cardboard or large paper, and placing a small weight such as a hardcover book on top. Your print should flatten within 24 hours. Alternately, you may lay the print on a clean flat surface such as a table, and the paper should naturally uncurl in approximately 48 hours.
How do I hang and frame my print?
Should you choose to frame your print we suggest acid-free matting. Should you choose to not frame your print, we suggest the use of mounting tape applied carefully to the four back corners of your print. The judicious use of thumb tacks is also a favored method of hanging here at Shop headquarters.
